I ain’t no fan of petina… so is there a good way to get the original shine back?
Disassemble the car and with a rag and stiff toothbrush, buff it out with Mothers aluminum mag wheel paste polish. After it hazes, you can get the polish off by squirting it with dawn and scrubbing the car under warm running water with a toothbrush. Be careful around the nameplates as the lettering can come off if your’re not careful.
[#ditto] I used the mag cleaner on my 600series passenger cars. You will be shocked how much crud comes off on your rags. I did mine four or five years ago and they still look great.
