There’s been some mention and a minor resurgence in interest in papercraft as a building medium in recent years in the hobby, but this guy takes it light years beyond anything we’ve ever seen before!
He says for his next project he would like to do a Norfolk & Western Y-6. I provided a link to the N&W Historical Society, but then I thought I remember seeing drawings for a Y-6 in MRM at some point. Can anybody help zero me in on that issue, if it exists?
I’ve also tried to get the editorial staff interested in covering him by trying to email them, but I haven’t gotten any response so far. Hopefully, one of them will see this and raise an eyebrow or two.
I’m with him. I’d love to see the sucka, but I really don’t want to join the forum just to see it. If you could copy the pics for us, it would be loverly though.
There is a train store in Westminster California called Arnie’s Trains they had or have a Big Boy made out of wood. I can’t say for sure on the scale but it was larger then G if I recall. Don’t see any pics of it on their website any more.but it was a beauty.
C. It won’t hurt you to join to see the progress pics. You won’t get spammed or anything like that. Rick Steffers, the list owner I’m sure would let you register just to see the pics.
D. No, I’m not advertizing for him.
E. I’ll look at the pics and see what I can pick out from among the many that are good representatives and try to post them here.
So, can anyone steer me to that Y-6 drawing or what?!!
Okay, seeing as I get the impression some folks here think I’m scamming them, remember, everything you see in the following pictures is made of paper or wood:
