Tom Podojil passed away this last week on Wednesday Dec 12th. Jim Trumpie Sent Me an e-mail last night & I checked The Cleveland Plain Dealer Obit Section & his cause of Death was not listed. Jim & I saw Tom at the Expo Mart Train Show just last month & he looked fine. He never mentioned any Health Problems & always attended Train Shows not only in Cleveland. but, in surrounding States as well & attended every York Meet as well. If any of you have outstanding Parts Orders from Warren’s, Please be patient as Tom’s Family are now going through their Grieving Period & I’m sure Trains are the last thing on their minds for now as they are dealing with Tom’s untimely passing.
Tom passed away Wednesday December 12 from a massive heart attack which happened at home. He was 56 years old. I know that many of his customers became good friends and I appreciate the fact that he was well thought of. As for the business, by son Frank and I will sift through the stacks of paperwork and computer data to determine what business transactions were in progress and to address these isssues first. Luckily my son Frank (19,) who some of you may know from the store and train shows, is home from college and will help me get caught up. Eventually, we will probably sell most of the inventory as I have a great job and will not be able to attend to the parts business as well as working full time. But that is down the road a bit. Thank you for your comments and condolences. I will not be taking any parts orders at this time but if there is an outstanding order or business transaction please email me at trains@wmtlionelparts.com and I will keep track of them and address them as soon as possible. Sincerely, Beth Podojil
