My wife got me the TM video about the late Tom Snyder’s Layout as a birthday present. Tom had a wonderful layout and it is well documented on the TM video. My question is this; Does anyone know if Tom’s layout will be preserved and put on display somewhere? The layout was built in sections by a professional layout builder. Unlike other great layouts that ended up in a dumpster or landfile, this one can be fairly easily moved. Has anybody heard anything?

I’ve wondered that, myself. I have the same video. It’s a fantastic standard gauge layout and I would certainly hope that it will be preserved.
I recently got that box set and his layout was really nice. I hope his family is enjoying it. It would be really cool if it could be on public display somewhere.
dang! I sure missed the boat. I tend to get away from the trains in the summer. My garage burned down in June, and I’ve been dealing with that drama. what happened to Tom?
He died.
