Tonight, Friday the 25th on History Channel

At 7pm Eastern, on the History Channel, on a show called “Modern Marvels”, the program is on Loading Docks, but it has a lot of train exposure. If you just want to see how they do that, it is good, or if you are modelling a loading facility, or if you are into Intermodals, they have plenty of information.

Dennis

Dennis, I checked my cable schedule and I have that program at 7pm also.

Thanks for the tip.

Chuck

Dennis : I think I have it then too !! Chuck : we’ll be switching back & forth between the ball game & the History channel !! [:D][:D][:D]

Thanks Dennis !!

John

That was pretty good !! They even showed a guy closing or opening some doors on a hopper ! I used to have to close those doors everyday, years ago, after they would unload coal for the boats to take across to Canada in our harbor. That was a much older car than todays cars though .

Thanks, John

Yep, that was pretty good. They had some good footage of trains and the double stacked container cars. I think this is what Buckeye is working on right now. Saw a lot of CSX trains.

Wifes family, Uncles and Grandfather worked the ore docks that were shown in Duluth and Superior Wis.
