After several emails and over an hour on the phone, Tony from RCS has answered all my questions (and I had a lot of them) and steered me in the right direction. In this day and age where customer service takes a back seat to all else it seems, Tony and RCS are rare exceptions, and the effort he put forth with me has earned RCS a customer.
Thanks Tony for all the help. I look forward to tackling my first installation and I’m sure when questions come up (and I know they will) Tony and RCS will be there to answer them… [:D]

I am one of those lucky people who turned a hobby into a business and still kept an interest in the hobby.
Although I do what I do for a living, I really do enjoy helping others “See the light”, so to speak, on how battery R/C can overcome the deleterious weathering effects on outdoor trackage that Mother Nature so kindly brings upon us.
Jeff has had an ongoing long term experience with Lithium Ion Poly battery technology, something that is still a bit of a mystery to me. I look forward to his reports on how the chemistry works in LS locos.
It is indeed refreshing to see a potential convert throughly researching what is available and the myriad ways of going about it.
Customer service is great…hard to find these days.
