#12 . What’s the best DCC system.
#11 . Grafitti.
My little teakettle can pull a gazillion cars, what’s WRONG with your 3000 dollar blingage loaded big boy?
DCC sound is too bloated, far too many bells and whistles…
“Why does my doppler work on the whistle, but not the chuff?”

How about these:
#10 - Which DCC system is best?
#9 - Reality vs. Fantasy modeling
#8 - Grafitti - the devil’s work or just part of modeling modern equipment.
#7 - What do you mean Tyco or Like-like is junk?
#6 - Any layout design contest by Spacemouse (Sorry, but its true)
#5 - Tell me what road you model and why.
#4 - This is my first attempt at (insert weathering, scenery, trees, painting etc.) what do you think.
#3 - Is Bachmann EZ DCC a good starter set?
#2 - What advice can you give me, any advice at all
#1 - Any post containing Jeffrey’s work with people saying they’re inspired by it and how he should post more.

(I say this as a user-mod who sees posts in several forums here at Kalmbach, so some of my suggestions won’t seem to ring a bell perhaps.)
Soldering vs. joiners
Amtrak (anything…)
How do I solder?
If the sky is falling, where will my steamer’s smoke go?
CSX (anything…)
UP (anything…)
Open Access
WPF
How do I clean track?
Is the CSX track cleaning car any good? I just got one.
Is this old brass engine any good? I just got it.
Ebay (anything…)

And then there’s that old favorite:
Who is a true model railroader?

Here’s one that almost started one for me: Steam Engines are less superior than Diesels because they are 1) old technology 2) Too Dirty and 3) all around inferior. Them fightin words, almost. Respect history man!
Andre, how are we supposed to start a good fight with photos like those? [;)]

Soldering vs. joiners - Soldering makes a more solid joint.
Amtrak (anything…) - Amtrak sucks
How do I solder? - One generally uses a soldering iron, gun, or torch plus flux and solder
If the sky is falling, where will my steamer’s smoke go? - The fjords
CSX (anything…) - What kind of dumb name is CSX? What moron would do that?
UP (anything…) - See AMTRAK
Open Access - To what?
WPF - Who Plays the Flute?
How do I clean track? - You wouldn’t have to if you kept it in the package.
Is the CSX track cleaning car any good? I just got one. - That’s your problem, not ours
Is this old brass engine any good? I just got it. - Tip for next time: Research first, buy later.
Ebay (anything…) - Who cares?
See how easy it is?

The topics most likely to cause dissention are those that are hot buttons to someone’s ‘expertise.’ (Mine? Several of the above, and a few not listed.)
The ACTION most likely to cause dissention is posting in advance of (or in blissful ignorance of) the facts, then defending that position by questioning the other posters’ qualifications while insistently restating the position in total disregard of all contrary testimony.
Hopefully, we all come here to share what we know and learn about things we don’t know. The problem is, some folks ‘know’ things that just ain’t so.
