It originally appeared in the thread on paper mills, and the OP was advised to start a new thread, which he did, and now, it’s gone???

I suspect the OP is still being Monitored. It was apparently his second post. Somehow it slipped through, but was then removed (probably automatically) for monitoring. It should appear again after approval.
OK, I guess that makes sense. I noticed a reply to the weathering thread by gregc was changed or deleted, and I was wondering what was goin on, not to get off topic.

When a post made by a user who is under moderation is edited, it goes back into the moderation queue, and if it has replies, the replies go with it. The post has been re-approved this morning, and its replies are intact.
OK, thanks Steve, just wondering if it was me, or something wrong with the forums.
