Does anybody have any train stories and their interaction with a tornado?
The only times I’ve seen a train-tornado confrontation, the train always LOST!
I’ve seen train interactions with tornadoes on the Weather Channels “Storm Stories.” As said before, the train always loses. That has got to be vary scarry for the crew of the train seeing an oncoming tornado and knowing that there is no way to avoid it. If it were another train, they may be able to jump but with a tornado, you may very well be more protected by riding it out in the locomotive.
That’s the case here in Oklahoma.
