Here is a link. http://www.space.com/spacewatch/ 041001_lunar_eclipse.html Enjoy! Dave Williams

Apocolypse-like…

And the skys shall rain fire, the sea shall turn to as blood, the rightous shall fall before the wicked and all of creation shall tremble before the burning standards of hell.

I play too many computer games.

AH-ROOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

get your tin foil hats ready, forum…in case the aliens want to take all the “experts” on railroading![#dots]

Lunar Eclipses are very common, no apocalyptic signs here. What kind of games do you like JF??

and don’t forget the is a lunar in railroading when their is a white signal at the bottom for csx and BNSF that I know of.
for UP there is 2 white and yellow the one that I saw it was yellow over yellow.
is there a green?
is there any other colors?

That doom statement was from Diablo 2 (Mephisto says that to Diablo and Baal as he opens up a portal to hell)

I like quest and/or military tactical kind of games. The fantasy ones are always challenging because destroying a bunch tanks is a lot easier than destroying a bunch of abyss knights that casts nasty magic spells.

lunar signals are usually at the top for csx although i have seen them in the middle for a tri set of signals.on the old cpls they can be on the top or on the side.[:p]
stay safe

Hey everyone up over! [:)] Enjoy the eclipse! [:)] We had a total lunar eclipse down here in south-east Queensland a few months ago. Trouble was, [|)] totality was about 5:00 am, too early for some [|)] [|)], but I thought it was worth making the effort . [;)] Being at the tail end of the night, and full moon, meant she was way down on the horizon, so we didn’t have much viewing time before moon-set.

At least you folk can enjoy it at a more reasonable hour.[:)] [;)] [:)] heh heh

Dave

wow!!! I didn’t know that thanks joe I have to E-mail my friend now

And of course it is cloudy as usual. Every time I can remember there being an eclipse (lunar or solar) over the past few years it’s been cloudy [sigh] I’m beginning to think I live in England after these past two weeks of rain and fog.

It’s cloudy here too. When it breaks though I can see the progress of the eclipse a bit.

It is looking pretty cool here. The neighborhood kids are out enjoying it. Another hobby of mine is astronomy. Kalmbach, of course, publishes the magazine Astronomy.

Looks great out there tonight – it’s about a quarter to half eclipsed at the moment - 1915 PST on the west coast - just got home from work - looked fantastic with the Mission railway bridge in the forground -wish I had my camera!

Saw it from my porch, looked pretty cool…

Probably a lot of train crews out there getting a good look at it. [:)]

the skies in Maine cooperated with us tonight, it was great to watch the landscape go dark from the reduction of moonlight. My daughters wanted to know if i could do it again! LOL
I had to tell them that I am merely a “Dad”

Here in New Jersey it was awesome. The clouds cooperated until way past totality, then there were enough breaks to see the return to light. And 2 weeks ago I had the pleasure to see the solar eclipse in Hawaii. What a month!!! Now, if only a 4-8-8-4 would fire up again…

Well here it couldnt be seen, tooo cloudy and rainy (DANGIT!) Oh well i guess we will have to wait for the next one to come around!

JF - Thats awesome i like First person Shooters, Strategy games like warcraft (never played Diablo but have wanted to for a while) nad i also like sim games like SimCity and tycoongames like Railroad Tycoon. Happy Railfanning and Gaming!!!

Gee, I thought the moon just had a red sock on it for the World Series!

(Good view of the eclipse here; trees were more of a bother than the clouds. I wonder whether anyone out west got good train/eclipse shots–it was probably too high up in the sky in our half of the country.)

Saw the full moon low in the western sky this morning–I’m usually not up early enough for that!

clouds hid the event from MN
