Tough finds: Long Island Atlas C420 and C-liner

My son wants to build a Long Island layout in the garage. I’m all for it so as an Xmas surprise I’ve been looking for Long Island loco’s new and old. I was able to get my hands on an Athearn DCC NY&A MP15AC but have had no luck in finding 2 old school locos

  1. Atlas C420 Phase 1 High Nose, Long Island

  2. Fairbanks Morse 5-Axle C-Liner, Long Island

I’ve been googling these locos for a while here and have had no luck. Any ideas? Thanx

Try Trainworldonline.com. They have some C420 but I did not see any for Long Island. But they do have some Long Island trains.

Welcome to the forums.

Have yu tried ebay. Not sure how ebay and google connect, if they do. I have found a number of things on ebay, but it sometimes takes time.

May have to go with what you’ve got for motive power for this holiday. Birthdays and next Christmas will be waiting for more new things to show up on the layout.
