Ok here we go again, looking for any one who has delt with them. How do the locos run? How do they sound? Are they good pullers? Hows the quality? All of these questions cause Im thinking of getting on board for the release of the sd70mace. Needing first hand experences please.

I own 4 of the Union Pacific C45ACCTE locomotives. I love the way they look, sound and run! They have a lot of brass detail parts installed on them and I can’t wait for the Heritage Series to be released.

I have two of their AC4400 in the SP Black Widow fantasy paint scheme. They are made by Ajin Precision of Korea and have the Digitrax SoundFX decoder in them. Running qualities are excellent, they have good detail, and the decoder/sound is also excellent.
So by all accounts worth the hefty price tag. Now just gotta convince the cfo. She can deal with a 100 loco but almost 375 for ONE may be too much. Well we shall see. Got a few side jobs that could pay for it…

I don’t know where you got that price from, but I paid $255.00 for my loco with sound and DCC.

If you saw a price of $375 for a Tower 55 model that’s extremely overpriced – you can order directly from Overland Models for $100 cheaper than that!
Well I got that figure based on the es44ac price of 350, from the t55 site and added 25 for shipping and taxes. Did you guys get yours from the site or thru a lhs?

I bought mine through my LHS…his margins are tighter on these locos so I got a 15% discount instead of my usual 20% off on whatever I purchase.
