Track Blocking: N gauge: Bachmann EZ TRack

Hello,

I very new at this and am trying to undertsand how one would block sections of track.

I have N gauge Bachmann EZ track. Can you use the Atlas products for this ?

I have seen the terminal joiners by Atlas that seem useable for the Atlas connectors (#205).

It appears that I would isolate these track sections using the insulated rail joiners ?.

If this works, do you use the #55 or #80 joiners, etc for the Bachmann EZ track ?

Or can you isolate track with products from Bachman ?.

Much thanks.

Saw the track in half, usually both rails, but that depends. Bachman doesn’t make a track that does this and the plastic rail joiners don’t work on Bachman track.

I’ve used some Bachmann track in my layout and simply cut gaps between the rails using a Dremel cutting wheel. Don’t cut through the plastic roadbed. Or you can use a hacksaw with a fine tooth blade. Be careful with either method not to cut too wide a gap, no more than an 1/8 inch. Jim
