OK gang here we go again with another question on how to clean track, I have used just about everything there is from maas, bright boy, and goo gone. When I use goo gone with a track car it only lasts for a few weeks and then I have to use it again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
after you clean the track with a bright boy or goo…add a very thin (and i mean very thin) layer of wahl’s clipper oil on the rails…the way i do it is place a small drop on the rail and let the engine’s wheels carry it out onto the layout…it keeps the rails and the wheels clean for a long time…Chuck[:D]
I traded up from the $69.00 centerline to Tony’s $99.00 clean machine.
I restructed by firing Tony and going with the $3.50 MAAS paste. IMO, the paste out performs. How did you apply it?
