Got my track stuck down. I used laminate flooring underlay for roadbed. This took 3 chunks to cover my 4 X 11 layout area. I stuck the first piece down with hot glue where the track runs (and melted through a couple of spots). For the rest, I figured there is no need to fasten it down - I have spiked the track to the wood below and will simply cut away the uneeded poly later. We’ll see how that works[:o)]
Based on the Turtle Creek Central and expanded by a few feet. Next I’ll make sure a few cars run cleanly over all joints before I start dropping feed wires.
