Track plans for bookcases and the like?

Can somebody tell me of a good book and/or books that would have track plans and preferly pictures on building a layout on a bookcase or desk or such? Lack of space and other circustems means original layout plan had to be scrapped[:(] Sorry about the bad spelling[;)]
