Track Plans

I enjoy the enhanced track plans in regard to providing a shopping list of track materials for these layouts in addition to showing which pieces fit where. You might want to consider doing the same for some of the smaller layouts your team visits that are featured in your magazine. I realize that this would be ridiculous for some of the “empires” you visit, however some of the smaller layouts are worthy of duplicating. I have considered this however I am too lazy to
buy a bunch of track and experiment replicating these layouts. Besides, it’s an expensive experiment to boot.

I second what you are saying Wallyworld - it does make the trackplans in CTT more user friendly.

If I see a trackplan that I like that is not detailed with a list, I try to replicate it with RR-Track software. This allows me to tinker with the plan, get a track list, place structures, and even adapt a plan to available space (whether smaller, larger, or a different shape).
