Has anyone had any problems with using Atlas code 83 flex track and Peco switches? Also, are there any better swithes to use with the atlas track? I like atlas flex but not atlas switches. System will be std dc

I have used the Atlas code 100 with the Peco turnouts for years on my modules with no problems. I can not see any reason why the code 83 would be different. Just make sure they are both the same code or use some sort of transition joiner.

Peco Insulfrog turnouts can work with either DC or DCC, might be a decision point if you choose to go DCC in the future. Some useful information is at: http://www.kato-unitrack.co.uk/peco
I used a mix of code 83 Peco flex track, Atlas switches, Peco switches, and one Shinohara switch on my HO scale layout with no problems except for the foot of Peco rail being slightly narrower than the Atlas rail, requiring the use of Atlas rail joiners instead of Peco. FYI, Atlas code 83 turnouts are significantly different than their code 100 products.
