hello, i hope im posting in the right place. i just picked up “o” gauge track. it does not match my “027” track as far as pin size and thickness. my question is, does the thickness matter as far as the radius? is the thicker track ONLY “o” gauge? can i purchase thick O27" track?

O27 has smaller profile. There is something called transition track to connect O27 to
standard O.
