Nice.
You must see Jeff’s layout if you get a chance. His layout is always being to changed to operate better. Has been my honor to see and operate this great model railroad. Thank you Jeff for being all the help yopu have given me.
Dan Brown
Wow, that is one FINE layout! I didn’t know that there was much C&O steam in N scale. The overall effect is really great, good trains, running smoothly in nice scenery with an over all theme binding them together. Impressive work!
Jeff, Thank you for sharing your layout with the Tracks Ahead team and Model Railroad Video Plus. The scenery, track, structures, locomotives and rolling stock all look great. Your C&O layout is truly a Great Model Railroad.
Agree with Dan Brown that Jeff’s N Scale railroad is one of the finest in our area of north east Indiana. I have had the pleasure of operating on his C&O. The detail and humor that he has built into this layout cannot be fully showed in just this video. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Jeff and his C&O Railroad please do so, you will be happy you did, outstanding scenery and detail awaits. Thanks Jeff for the opportunity to run trains on your railroad. John J. Reitz, MMR.
Very nice! I like what I see…
One of the finest N scale layouts I’ve seen, well detailed. I like the actual operating coal mine, nice touch.
I have a lot of respect for the attention to so much detail and especially the balance with sharing it with friends
N Scale? You could have fooled me! Outstanding work, Jeff and crew! Ya’ll have turned this layout into a museum piece that I will long envy. You have obviously been blessed with a gift of patients. Taking your locomotives and stripping them down to rebuild them into perfection is just plain insane, …until you see them run. (I’m havin’ a h… of a time with mine; and, I just converted to DCC.) One perfectionist to another, Jeff, next time you’re out in California, you can come play at my house! Dinner is on me. And, God bless your Dad for his service in Vietnam. I just missed out in '74.
One of the finest works of modeling I have seen .Truly captures the area, especially the Southwestern West Virginia mines. Amazing what a level can be reached by a dedicated builder in N.
Very nice N scale layout that I have seen. Superb job Jeff.
Really enjoyed the visit. Very nice scenery work. The vistas achievable in N scale almost make me want to switch from HO. Speaking of size, is the layout actually 9x15? It sure seems bigger than that to me. Maybe it’s perspective distortion from the camera or maybe that’s the effect N scale has!
