No vote from me for any this time. Not one of the pictures tells me that anything is amiss, out of the ordinary, misplaced… The picture has to tell me not the captions. A picture of a GG1 in LA or a UP Centennial in NYP or Hoosic Tunnel would or an MBTA subway car on the Chicago Loop or an NS Heritage engine on Tehachapee Loop; these pics would tell the story without it having to be explained in words. Sorry guys, the photogs and Trains missed the mark here.
OK…I’ll recant in part. Tom Nano’s Florida East Coast unit in the New England snow did cover the topic and theme very well…I just didn’t put “FEC” into correct mind to understand and appreciate. So I did cast a vote for Tom…
An FEC engine in the snow was close enough for me.
The rest lacked a solid visual clue of why they were “out of place.”
A very unfortunate group of photos. With the exception of Tom’s photo, all needed the caption to explain what was going on.
So, I voted for Tom’s photo.

There’s no contest here…Tom Nanos nails this one perfectly.
