Erik (Bergie)

I realize many comments have been made in the other forum but Eric’s shot is so unusual…[;)] just thought that it warrants saying here too…[;)]an SD45 running long hood first…now that’s different…[;)][:)]

Dave

Heh heh Bergie needs to get out more, an SD45 running long hood forward is fairly common on that rock train the WC/CN runs.
It is an odd look – almost as odd as a high hood EMD GP-30.

you like best

Mind you, not that I should comment, my spelling is awful.

but you have to give me points for my Grammar…

Did Mike take that picture in mannual mode? the sutter didn’t stay open for long enough- jsut a tiny bit to dark- But it’s still a great shot

Seeing the SD45 running long-hood forward is not biggie to me. As what I said in the other forum, there is so much to see in the photo. You can see the engine with detail, the engineer, and the last car in the train. This shot has everything in my book.

Shades of Southern,N&W running long hood first?
Hope they are planning some trackwork in the near future,
as from that picture,it looks like they could use it![:)]
