Some great pix! I had to vote for the meet since it was a ‘two-fer’ but they were all good, I have a fave I took myself of an eastbound UP stacker at Stein’s Pass, just along the Arizona and New Mexico state line. It is not with a professional camera or quite that quality but I was real proud of it.
Had to go with Alex Mayes’ pic. It shows that containers and container trans go in both directions. The others are all good advertisements for the railroad or container company in the picture
Like Henry6, Alex Mayes picture stood out for me. Tom’s night shot was a strong runner-up. One of the other pictures did not really qualify since as far as I could see the only trailers were visible. And the current front runner is a wonderful picture with the CSX units on the arch bridge but the two containers are a negligible part of the composition. As I have said in the past, how the picture illustrates the theme is an important factor so it immediately eliminated it from my consideration.
