Gary Payton’s BNSF photo is taken from I- 40 looking NW toward the control point MARMON which is about halfway between Albuquerque and Grants, NM.

I liked the one by Bryan Bechtold. It reminded me of a Far Side cartoon in need of a caption. How 'bout: “As all that horsepower was out on the railroad keeping America’s economy humming, Joey could only watch from the corral, hoping someday to be an NS thoroughbred, or at least star in a Budweiser Super Bowl commercial someday”.

Yes, Gary has a nice shot, but that sure didn’t look like anything near Tucumcari.
