Does any one have some tips on how to make some realistic traffic lights not like the tacky model power traffic lights
Wait for the Walthers Cornerstone ones to come out.

I have several of the Walthers traffic lights and the controller…
Great fun and a very convincing animation of the traffic signal sequence! I highly recommend these!
I’m going to be starting up again VERY soon. I saw these and a video clip of them, look pretty nice.
How many lights will the controller handle?
Found the link:
I looked at those and thay looked perfect
Nice video.
How are those to work with? Is it all wires coming out of the bottom of the mount, or did Walthers do some sort of plug-mount like on the Cornerstone street lights? (I like the 4-way traffic light, but that arched support is too modern for me. I’d like to be able to remove the signal and mount it on a post, like the 2-ways are.)
This controller http://www.bakatronics.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=341 is a lot cheaper. I was wondering if that could be adapted. Are the Walthers ones LEDs, or small incandescents?

I wondered the same thing. From what I have read, they are LEDs.
[#ditto] Although I do wish they used 12v DC, like all the rest of my lighting, instead of AC.
