Have any of you built one of these brass kits? they look great to me, i got out the visa and tried to order the tower that is on page 13 of the march MRR, guess they dont have them in stock? i was wondering if there is another source? also how tough are these type of kits to build? thanks guys!

I’ve never built one, but I’d say check out some resources on building etched brass kits, online or in print, and that should help tremendously. If they have no kits in stock on their site, I’d say try looking at Walthers website, ebay or even do a Google search. Your LHS, if you have one, might be able to get them too.

I went to their website and they do have instructions and tips for building these kits. If you have not built brass kits, better learn how to solder and use a fine tip torch, resistance soldering iron and maybe a standard soldering iron. Resistance soldering irons seem the way to go.

I’ve built several , they build very well using a combination of CA and solder. I bought mine from his E Bay store.
