You may have locked the unit in reverse with a switch found on the underside of the train beneath the cab. If you have your owner’s manual for that set, page 13 talks about the switch that controls the reverse unit.
This switch is located on the underside of the train on the back below the cab. There should be two switches. The one closest to the front of the engine will control the smoke unit. The one closest to the back controls the reversing unit.
Turn the switch to the “ON” position (push it towards the front of the engine), and see if that has any effect.
Yes call Jeff Kane at 585-229-2050 and tell him whats going on I’m betting your electronic E-Unit is messed up one way to check is unhook wires to the motor and hook a dc transformer up to the motoe directly and if it runs in both directions I would bet your E-Unit is the coulpit if not its the motor either way right around $20.00 or less and your back in business
