I have an old train order signal that I legally obtained in Dawson Georgia. I believe it was on an old Southern line. I also “think” it was made by Union Switch & Signal, but am not sure. I have photos of the signal, if anyone need to see them… I am looking for some information on it’s history and who actually made it. Thanks ahead for the help.
The north south line was an old SAL line Columbus - Albany (abandoned except for 4 miles each side of Dawson)(Yeomans - Sasser).
The east west line was Georgia Central (not C of Ga.) then South Carolina Central; Ga Southwestern RR (Rail TEx) Eufaula - and a long way to Albany (in service). They have a small 2 position 1 track engine house in Dawson.
