I’m from south eastern MI (Lenawee County.) I’m wondering if there are any “Train Festivals” or “Train Shows” around the area that are open to the public. If you know of any, please list the location and date or information that I could find out those details.

Here’s a couple
I’m also from Lenawee County. Tecumseh to be exact.
The shows nearby in Michigan are the Rails on Wheels show in Saline at the Farm Council Grounds between Ann Arbor and Saline the Sunday after Thanksgiving each year and the Ann Arbor Club Show held in Saline at the Middle School on the same day as the Daytona 500 each spring.
There are also several shows each year at the Lucas County Recreation Center in Maumee, Ohio (Toledo). The next show there is in September. It’s put on by a fellow from Adrian.
There are several shows in the Detroit area but I don’t have details on them.
You can go to www.railsonwheels.com , the club that I belong to, and there is a listing of the shows that we know of there.

Go to Google and enter “train show michigan” and you’ll get a list.
Be aware that Google will find some old web pages, sometimes for shows that happened in 2003 or earlier. Some people just don’t clean up after themselves.
The MR “Events” calendar is good, but not everyone uses it. MR does NOT show things that happened in the past, though, only upcoming shows.
