What railroad currently owns the railroad that follows beside the panama cannal?
KCS.
KCS…
KCS,
no seach required this time.
KFC
Geometricallly speaking, don’t all 4 have lines that run parallel to the Panama Canal?[;)]
Even I know this one, KCS.
Actually, if one of them didn’t, none of them would based on your thinking- the Panama Canal runs north/south!
But all four do have north south lines at some point.
So all 4 answers ARE correct! Cool![:D] And I was just going to go out on a limb, and say Herbert Hoover. (Hint-it might in the wording of the question?) Are you asking which railroad IN Panama?
Yes in Panama, next to the cannal, it was just pointed out that cannel, might be some desert annimal.
Directly, it is KCS. But technically all of them do.
“Canal” would be nice.
Some old, but interesting, pictures-

The Panama Canal Railroad is now part of the KCS system. The line has had a most interesting history since it was built as the FIRST transcontinental railroad in the 1850’s.
I guess I was thinking of “parallel” meaning, since the canal runs north/south, that they would have to be directly east or west of the canal and running north/south. But that’s me being anal to the max.
TRAINS mag. had an article on the operation and updating of this railroad several years ago.
KCS without a doubt…guaranteed.
Well, actually the correct answer is none of them “own” it, since KCS leases the line under a 25-year agreement from the Government of Panama under the PCRC operating name… http://www.KCSI.com/corporate/pcrc.html or http://www.PanaRail.com/
KCS. They bragged about it all over the place in their 2004 Annual Report.
That’s ok. None of us understand binary either.[:)]
