Train Trivia 10/5/05 (ANSWERED)

Here’s a harder one.

Which of these presidents, always went to the cab of the locomotive and shook hands and talked with the engineer when traveling by rail?

  1. Franklin Roosevelt
  2. Abraham Lincoln
  3. Teddy Roosevelt
  4. Harry Truman

Teddy Roosevelt!

I’ll have to go with Teddy also. Franklin would’ve had problems doing that in his wheelchair, and amongst the other three, it sounds like Teddy put himself more at the level of the common worker than the others.

I heard that on the History Channel. It was Teddy Roosevelt.

…Abraham Lincoln…but only a guess.

I’ll guess Herbert Hoover

I thought it was Harry Truman. He would not have considered himself to be “above” something like that.

Hmm, didn’t he run a vacumn company.

I am stuck between Teddy and Lincoln, but since the majority of people in here think that it is Teddy then I’m going to go with Teddy. Please tell me I’m right, the suspence is killing me.!

Truman, definitely.[8D][8D][8D]

Well, that just sucks! Maybe it’s not Herbert Hoover[xx(]

Answer and new question tommorow evening as usual.

That was a joke, because of the vacumn company, I don’t know a dam thing about Hoover.

THAT’S RIGHT!!! Well, maybe. I don’t really know, but thought I’d try to help you out with that suspence issue.[;)]. I’ll bet you’re the kind that can’t wait to open Christmas presents too?[}:)][:)]

  1. Harry Truman

Truman

Teddy Roosevelt was the one.

GOOD OLE TEDDY ROOSEVELT, A REAL AMERICAN. Ok the suspense is over.

I know Truman did it too but I guess not all of the time.
