Yeah, I saw something about it on The History Channel about a year ago. Good show…good show.
The City of San Francisco is the only one listed that even went through Donner Pass. All of the others ran either only along the coast or further north through the Cascades.
What about the Shasta Daylight?
City of SF there is even a video available of this saga.
The Shasta Daylight went through the Siskiyou’s and Cascades, not the Sierras.
