I’m going to eliminate India because they called their steamers Black Beauties and maintained them meticulously. These look too dirty for that.
Then I am going to guess Austrailia just because the front pilot and steam chest look very North American.

I am going to say India. I just watched a movie on Indian steam a few days ago and the steam loco looks kinda familiar. But I could be wrong.
I don’t see any red stars on it, so I say “not China.”
It’s gotta be India. That tender looks awful familiar.

India, I know how Ray did it, but I won’t spoil his surprise.
The name of the photo is India16.jpg. Not gonna tell how I found that out, but is was very simple. [8D]
What he did is he either saved the photo on his computer, or looked at the properties, ala Bert and Ernie, if you have been paying attention to the weekly photo contest.
Yep, the first one. I pulled onto my desktop with the idea of enlarging it to see if there were any clues I might find in a larger image. Whalla, there was the answer!
I just went with my gut, it just looked so familiar!
