Train Trivia 12/16/05 (ANSWERED)

In the 1950 Classic Warner Brothers cartoon All A Bi-r-r-r-d There is a large chest in the baggage car marked FOR________

  1. Friz Freleng
  2. C Stalling
  3. B Bunny
  4. Daffy Duck

No trivia this weekend.

…I’m guessing: # 4 Daffy Duck

4, here also.

B? Just a guess.

Welcome home son, welcome home

I suspect 2. Freleng and Stalling worked in Termite Terrace.
Is this the cartoon with Tweety and Sylvester being shipped in the baggage car?

Friz Freleng. Number 1

Friz Freleng. Number 1[#oops] I guess it was that important that I had to post it twice.

Fritz Freeling

  1. Fritz Freeling. I beleive he was the producer and this was an inside joke by the cartoonist. Is cartoonist a word??? [?]

When do we find out the answer, and what does the winner get?

Usuallly about a day after I post. If you are right you get the satifaction of it, I guess.

Yes this is the one with tweety being shipped in the baggage car.

Tough question! Really love Warner Bros. animation of the period - Witty, funny & always a treat (they never seem to get old). Too bad that they don’t make animation like this anymore. [:(]

I gotta go with rrandb and put my vote down for #1 (Fritz Freleng). This sounds like an insider’s joke among the cartoonists of the time. And yes, Cartoonist is a word! [;)]

Lotus: Couldn’t I just go back to November 16 / 05 to get the answer?[;)]

I think it was #1. Fritz Freleng.

Friz Freleng. The names of those who worked on the cartoon appeared quite often in the cartoons. Another tweety cartoon had a Drink Friz poster on the side of a building.

Note to James: change your calender-it’s now December. ( 12th month )[;)]

I’ll take tomorrow’s trivia, OK?

P.S. Was friz a producer or director for this cartoon?? I assume you have the cartoon . Or is that another trivia question???

Thanks Murphy and yes it is a Friz cartoon.

If you mean Monday, go ahead.
