I don’t know where you got your info from, but none of those are correct.

I now see what you did wrong. One of the numbers is the production number minus exports. (In other words, the number sold in the States.)
Matt
In that case, 118.
118 seems to ring a bell, but don’t hold me to it. I do know that the Maine Central had 10 of these “baby boats” . These ten units were built in May and June of 1975,I’m assuming as 1976 model year and were called the “Independence Class”. These ten units recieved a unique eagle herald on the front of the short hood. Each was named after Revolutionary War events or people. They were as follows:
Unit 400 was “General Henry Knox”
Unit 401 was “Hannah Weston”
Unit 402 was “General John Stark”
Unit 403 was “General Peleg Wadsworth”
Unit 404 was “Kenneth Roberts”
Unit 405 was “Arundel”
Unit 406 was “Colonel John Allan”
Unit 407 was “Unity”
Unit 408 was “Battle Of The Bagaduce”
Unit 409 was “Ethan Allen”
All of these units were from a cancelled order from SCL and were equipped with EMD’s Blomberg trucks and were equipped with dynamic brakes
Although labled ‘b’ these were cab units and 118 were sold in the US, and 45 in Mexico.
