Train Trivia (answered)

The answer is 1

I dont really know! [%-)] I’ll just sit here and wait for the answer! [sigh]

I’ll take a stab and say none.

Darrell, repeatedly quiet…for now

I don’t know, but I felt that it must be an attempt at a trick question, so I voted ‘none.’

I’ll say one…

Tom

None?

Been too long since I have been in school and history wasnt my best subject. I think jesse james was a famous and notorious bank robber, but I dont think he robbed any trains.

Quick…toggles over to Google…searches on JJ…says none in the mean time…waits for official results…{but the one site I did go to mentions seven different train robberies.}[^]

Does that make the poll invalid if the answer is seven?

first target was the Chicago and Rock Island express near Adair, Iowa, on July 21, 1873. They stopped the train by removing a portion of the track.

January 31, 1874, they robbed the Iron Mountain Railroad train in Wayne County, Missouri

October 1879, he was back to his old tricks with a new gang. They robbed a Chicago and Alton train. They robbed four more trains in 1881, the last one at Glendale, Missouri.

it took about 30 seconds to document SEVEN.

How many??
