Need help planning your train watching? I have the answer. A formula that gives me the probabability of a train arrival given:

  1. the number of trains/day at the site

  2. the arrival time for the last train

  3. your travel time to the site

  4. the time you are willing to wait.

Neat !

At my site the numbers are 50%, 22 .4trains/day, 5 min, 60 min. For 26 trials the results are 14 train arrivals.
