TrainElectronics speedometer
I would like to thank Garden Railways for taking the time to review this product. The comments and suggestions are appreciated and modifications to the software have been made to address the scale programming issues that were reported. I have removed the somewhat arbitrary scale designations and gone to rations, as suggested. This has removed the timing issues that were observed and should make programming much simpler. I would also like to mention that the open stand that supports the unit is supplied with the basic speedometer, but other options are available. A custom made enclosure, pictured at: http://www.trainelectronics.com/speedometer/wireless_custom_hopper/wireless_custom_hopper_installation.htm#box-front fully encloses the unit in a Plexiglas and wood box. There are also a number of different sensor options and custom sensors can be made to accommodate most needs. See: http://www.trainelectronics.com/speedometer/speedometer_manual.htm#sensors Thanks again and I encourage you to explore the information at TrainElectronics.com and to contact me directly if you have questions.
