Aktchu’lly, wouldn’t that be North Portal, ND? Been dere, done dat, on the “Soo Dominion” in 1955 from St. Paul, MN! Cool! Soo Line F’s to North Portal, changed out to a CP (non-Royal) Hudson. Combined with the CP “Dominion” (which included some stainless steel cars and a dome!) at Moose Jaw, SK and on to Calgary, AB behind a FP-7A - B - B lash-up! There was, also, a CP “Tourist” (partly-open) car in the train. First, and only one I ever saw. Even got a cab ride on the CP steamer out of North Portal!
