Trains DVD Series Tehachapi?

Who like the Tehachapi Pass DVD? I might keep this DVD.

I thought it pretty good. A nice introduction to Tehachapi for me who only knew about the loop but not much else. I think they could have stayed in one spot a little longer than they did, though, maybe have shown five or six trains at a single location. I guess these aren’t as strict railfanning videos like the ones I’m used to now.

BTW–if you’re getting the “Ultimate Railroading DVD Series” now, it looks like you’ll have to pay about 20 bucks for each DVD, instead of the $9 that “Big Power” was. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

This other tape company is offer 8 Hours on Tehachapi on 2 DVD Dises for only $29.95 when i might pay 26.00 for this dvd. What should i do?

I wish they would do a Amtrak Beech Grove shop DVD.

Hey I saw an ad for that somewhere. I thought it was a pretty good deal especially when you could pay the same amount for a DVD that’s only one hour long. The new Ultimate Railroading DVD Series’ Tehachapi is about an hour long. I’m assuming this 8 hour Tehachapi set is strictly railfanning with minimal narration and strictly trains…in eight hours, they could probably show a day’s worth of trains even if they showed each train in its entirety. If this is the thing you like then I’d say it’s worth it.
