Going out to visit my daughter and her family for Christmas. Any nice train displays or good hobby shops in the Olympia/Lacey, Washington area?

No interesting hobby shops in Olympia or Lacey. A couple in nearby Tacoma. Several world class layouts often featured in magazines. E-mail me at jimsabol@msn.com and I’ll do what I can to hook you up. What did you mean by “out” there in Washington. Western Washington is the center of the known universe in medicine, technology, Wagnerian opera, jet aircraft. Microsoft, Starbucks, UPS, PSAT test scores, mild climate, and much more often exportef to less advanced communities “back” east. :slight_smile: Jim here.

True, but I’m located in Northern Indiana. So going to Washington to visit the kids is “going out there” LOL

Not a chance. Going out (LOL) to visit my daughter, her husband and the grand kids. Our Christmas gift to ourselves.

Jim, thanks for the offer, but our trip will be short and I will have the grandkids as much as possible. They both love trains, but they are 4 and 2, so I wouldn’t want to take them with me. Maybe the next time we come out.
