Great museum! Most all the locomotives and rolling stock under roof. I was ghetto a few years ago and thoughly enjoyed the time there! Unique opportunity for a railroad museum to lend equipment for an overseas event!
On Saturday 6-21, Dominion of Canada will return to the Angus Pavillion at ExpoRail in Delson Canada, swapping positions with a CN FA. Dominion will face the front door as you enter.

I’ll be making a trip to see DDE this fall. I’m glad it’s back!
Welcome home “IKE” you and your mates were something to see in York. Here’s to an idea–how about putting “IKE” back in steam? If UPRR can do that to a Big Boy how about doing that to “IKE”.
I’ve seen lots of pics of Dominion of Canada during and after the work done in England and the cosmetic work is spectacular. These folks knew what they were doing. I’m sure the Dwight D. Eisenhower is just as well done.
It’s interesting that they were able to roll the locomotive off the flat car. Seems like any mention of moving a steam locomotive these days automatically means using two cranes at each end to load and unload it. Kudos to the museum for saving the cost of cranes.
