Great!! Glad they are doing things to keep the EBT alive.

That’s great news and very interesting as well!

I read this information on Easter Railroad News site on March 21. Thus, this is not a TRAINS Exclusive.

This is good news, any extra money that comes in will help with paying for the upkeep of the railroad.

Add the third-rail (standard gauge, not electric) and go for it, if there are any customers down-line.

The dual gauge did not extend for a mile south under the original EBT. They swapped out the trucks of the SG cars at Mount union with Narrow gauge trucks using their transfer crane. The dual gauge was added with the Mount Union Connecting railroad in the late 1990’s, but nothing ever came from it. Best of luck and best wishes to Salone and the EBTCR.

Glad to hear this, planning a ride through the area in the near future.

Glade to hear that the EBT will be with us again.
