Trains News Wire EXCLUSIVE: Unloading a steam locomotive

Welcome back Ike!!!

I had heard years ago that tow hooks should be attached with the opening up so if it broke or stretched open it would hit the ground instead of launching into the air.

I would like to have seen how the TTX flat was modified to couple to the engine. The use of such a long idler car is interesting, given that its long coupler overhang (distance from bolster center to coupler (or buffer) face) would create significant vertical adjustment at the coupling.

Any explanation of the Schneider National trailer? Were they sponsoring since this is in Green Bay?
