That truck driver and his escort crew deserve tons of thank yous from railfans. I have taken 18 wheels through North Judson on the state routes. Lets just say the town isn’t really set up for anything more than a wiggle wagon. 18 wheels takes skill. 46 wheels is insane.
Do the orange barrels pictured have anything to do with the move?
Mr. Forbes, a permit load like this is a relatively simple thing, it would not require any lane closure or barricades or such. The orange barrels are probably there for some construction or such.
In regards to Mr. Guse’s comment, I said “relatively”. Jeeps and stingers would make for a long day for the driver.
