From the Albuquerque fiesta…
You always come up with amazing photos, Perry!
Where did you grow up in Massachusetts?

Thanks Jim,
I was born and raised in Shrewsbury. I didn’t take this photo, but was fowarded it by a friend. I did live in Albuquerque for five years and attended this event twice. It’s a great show if you’ve never seen it.
COOL! laz57
Perry1060- Now you’ve done it. If Chief sees that Balloon Engine., Then, He’ll want a Corvair Balloon so he can drift over the North & Drop Grit’s Bombs on us. Thanks a lot Gilligan![;)][;)][:)][:o)][:o)] Take Care.
My Marx 490 used to fly when it slammed into an O27 curve on my first layout… (The “490” in its name refers to its speed in scale miles per hour). Unfortunately that locomotive wasn’t as good at landing. [:(]
Shouldn’t this thread have been started by Mitch when he left his lift bridge up. [;)]
In the Albuquerque box, they can’t drift that far because they rise and fall with opposite winds…keeping them in the ‘box’. I love grits…have the Chief drop some over AJ w/butter and salt. [:)]
[]That really hurts. [
] My brother and I used some titanium epoxy to repair the boiler yesterday. Luckily it was two small pieces that broke in an incpnspicuous place. Noe I have to get the replacement boiler front. I am heading to a train show after church today. Hopefully there will be parts dealer there that has the piece I need. Otherwise i will order by phone or on-line, trying to save a little on shipping by looking at a local show.
