trains through KC hub

hey, does anyone watch how many trains go through the kansas city hub? i read somewhere it’s +350/day…

If you look at section D of todays Kansas City Star[22 Aug.06], there is some information about KC area traffic and coments from BNSF and UP as well as KCS on traffic and expectations, also some stuff on the projected BNSF development around Gardner, Ks [$1 Billion dollar deal]

There is more tonnage hauled by railroads through KC than there is in Chicago, and the gap is widening. They have stepped up to the plate and built flyovers, while Chicago just lets things get worse. The tonnage maps about KC in the April 2005 Trains magazine are worth a look.
