Train's Web Cam

What is the most out of the ordinary sighting anyone has seen on the Rochelle web cam?

It’s slow.

BNSF railfan,

Wouldn’t this be the MOST ordinary we SEE on the web cam??LOL…[:D]

once saw the BNSF switch the siding that parallels the UP - is that an interchange track or is there an industry tucked back there?

[:(!] Hey, it’s also FREE my friend! [;)]

Actually there is a Del Monte processing plant behind the trees & that siding leads to a small yard maybe 7/8 tracks that the UPRR also acesses which you cannot see on the webcam. Also you may not believe it but the UPRR tracks looking east to west are really curving to the left as they go across the diamond after crossing the diamond they go across a garde crossing & the Del Monte plant will be on left again looking east to west.

A portapotty on a trailer behind a speeder.

The answer to your specific question since both the UPRR & BNSF can be acessed from this track it could be used as a interchange track. I do not know if the 2 RRs interchange cars their but for sure in my several years of watch the traincam I have never seen a UPRR engine pop its head out & come onto the BNSF tracks. Maybe somebody with more knowledge then me can tell you if the 2 roads do interchange traffic their. The day I was their I did see both BNSF & UPRR power in the yard though.

It’s ok,Calm down…I was just only making a general comment. I was not being sarcastic or nothing.
