Trainwatching in Fostoria

I’m planning a trip to Fostoria, Ohio in June. I’m assuming that there is plenty of action on the weekends as well as weekdays, true?

Thanks,
Ross Ruehle

Nathan,

Thanks for the info. I’ve never been to Fostoria before so any information is a help!

Joe,

Thanks for the info. Are are any locations in Fostoria that are particularly good spots? I’m staying at the Days Inn which I understand is a little west of town.

Thanks,
Ross

Check out Columbus ave in Fostoria. There is a parking lot and you can see the tower facing west.I got good pictures of a Csx train coming off of the C&O onto the B&O going eastbound.Like I said before if you are coming from the west follow st rt 18.It losely follows the old B&O.And Don’t forget Deshler Ohio. You have the North?South B&O cross the east west B&O.
good luck
stay safe

I usually park by the Amtrak station…While you are in the area, you may want to swing by Marion…And a trip to the yard at Willard would be nice if you have the time…Don’t forget the NS at Bellevue and visit the museum there as well.Again if you have the time…And yes Forstoria is a busy place-anytime.

Joe,

Thanks much for the info. Sounds like there’s a lot to see!
