Their reputation gets a lot of return business, and generally returns higher prices.
Keep watching the Trainz.com site. They sell their items new and PW thru their store before they go up for auction. So if you want something, buy it before it hits the block.

John - I’ve had well over 100 transactions with TRAINZ (don’t tell my wife!) Never felt like there was “shill” bidding against me. Some people will pay anything for an item they want. I set a limit as to what I am willing to pay, and that’s what I bid. If I don’t get it, I didn’t need it anyway! Sometimes, I will stay with the auction, until the bitter end, other times I put in my highest bid, and, find out in the morning, win or lose! I’ve lost auctions by a penny! Hope this helps!
